The Role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant who combines strong communication and client-facing skills with a solid understanding of modern software development and infrastructure.

This is not a purely sales-driven role. We need someone who understands technology well enough to confidently discuss:

  • software architecture
  • cloud infrastructure
  • DevOps workflows
  • APIs and integrations
  • scalable systems
  • ERP/business solutions
  • web and mobile application development

You will act as the primary point of contact between clients and our engineering team — helping translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring projects remain organised, communicated, and delivered effectively.

Alongside account management and solution consulting, you will also help drive client acquisition, marketing initiatives, social media management, and business growth activities.

Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
  • Act as the main communication bridge between clients and developers
  • Understand client business requirements and translate them into technical discussions
  • Manage project communication, timelines, updates, and expectations
  • Coordinate meetings, requirement gathering, and solution planning
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery and support phases
  • Identify upsell and long-term partnership opportunities

Technical Consulting

  • Discuss software solutions confidently with clients
  • Understand and explain:
  •  - cloud hosting and infrastructure
  •  - DevOps and deployment workflows
  •  - APIs and system integrations
  •  - software architecture concepts
  •  - ERP and business automation systems
  •  - scalability, security, and performance considerations
  • Assist with proposal writing and solution recommendations
  • Work closely with developers to align technical delivery with business goals

Sales & Business Development

  • Help generate and qualify leads
  • Conduct outreach and follow-up with prospective clients
  • Support proposal preparation and sales presentations
  • Help close projects and maintain client pipelines
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage and improve company social media presence
  • Coordinate content, campaigns, and client engagement initiatives
  • Help build brand visibility and lead generation processes

Skills & Experience

Communication & Business

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple projects and conversations
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset

Technical Understanding

  • You do not need to be a developer, but you must understand modern technology like:
  • Software development lifecycles
  • APIs and integrations
  • Cloud platforms, DevOps and hosting concepts
  • Databases and system scalability
  • ERP/business systems
  • Security and performance considerations

Marketing & Growth

  • Experience in writing online content
  • Experience with social media management and content coordination
  • Understanding of lead generation and sales funnels
  • Ability to support business development activities
  • Comfortable using CRM and project management tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a software agency or startup
  • Technical project management experience
  • Understanding of AWS/GCP/Azure environments
  • Familiarity with Odoo, ERP systems, or automation platforms
  • Experience with SEO, LinkedIn outreach, or digital marketing
  • Experience writing technical proposals or documentation
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX and product strategy
